It does work! My family use it weekly to clean all of our glasses and sunglasses. For better result, get some cleaning solution from Costco (free refills after you purchase the first time), and add some of it each time along with water. You'll be amazed at what comes out of your glasses when you first turn it on!

Don't like automatic shut off after only three minutes. I would like a machine that would operate longer, 5 minutes or more. If using additives, instructions requires emptying and rinsing after each use. Seems wasteful and I question the need. With these limitations, the unit looks and operates very good.
